Our Thoughts: Bestvpnforyou.com tested the software as a bittorrent proxy a while back and it was OK if a bit expensive for what you got. They now also now include a fully fledged VPN service (which makes the price much more reasonable) but we have yet to test and rate this.

this is a terrible service, from the moment i installed it my mac began to freeze, apps will not open, the finder is constantly unresponsive and i cant even shutdown manually, i have to use the power off and to top all that, the support is a joke, they don’t reply, they take your money and then you will never hear from them…. I am so sick of this company they are a complete joke, thieves is putting it lightly … use at your own peril.
I cancelled within the three day limit and after two months they still have not returned my money. Support from them is nearly non-existent except for when you want to cancel and then they will tell you to block your renewal but that doesn’t get the year pre-payment back as they said they would. To add insult to injury the service doesn’t work! The reason I cancelled was because I couldn’t get anything to download on my Windows 7 machine, I got NO help from support and there were many complaints on their forum until it was shut down because too many people were bitching about the crappy software and support.
O have been with these guys for 3 years. It has improved allot in the last few months.

Dont use the built in P2P software, use your own such as Utorrent.

Hi everyone,
After I read the review on torrent freak I’ve decided to buy for one month.
Unfortunately their app is crap on Win XP.
On mac is 50/50. Once is working once not.
So today 2-6-2012 I decided to check. I downloaded the same file and I checked myself.
I was so pissed off when I saw that TorrentPrivacy anonimyzer is not working and instead to see the IP from Sweden I’ve seen my real IP. WTF?
What is the idea to buy a month and not to use it? You think that you are safe when in fact is the opposite. So if someone would like to buy, better try first.
This is a screen to see that you have only 3 choises (3 servers).
The is no way to check if you are safe (anonim) via TorrentPrivacy app.
I could not even get the VPN software to work…
I have contacted them several times, however, I have yet to receive an answer from them.
